And so the trip has started, at 14.45 on the 22nd June I departed from Australia bound for Kuala Lumpur. I've got 3 hours here to wait for my connection to Amsterdam. Went and exchanged some money and got myself some food because I barely ate in the plane due to my huge hangover from last night.

It's a beautiful airport this one, the only thing I found strange is that the people departing and the people arriving are all in the same area.

I'll arrive in amsterdam tomorrow at approx. 13.00 and from there it's straight to my backpackers hostel "The Flying Pig" :) There I will probably have a bit of a nap and then gor for a walk around town, maybe go for some "coffee" at one of their coffe shops:)

Can't believe I'm finally on my way to a trip I've always wanted to make....From Amsterdam I will go to Portugal for a month and then from there to Berlin, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and Russia.
